Gemstones for Coralie

This month Canadian Coralie is my block swap partner, and she requested either star of hope or or Free trade.  Both sweet little patterns so I made her one of each.

Coralie requested the blocks in jewel colours with a light background, so I am sending her some sapphires and emeralds in "star of hope" and my favourite, some amethyst in "free trade".  I hope I got these right as I was not 100% sure what jewel colours are (my guess is the colours of gem stones), please correct me if I am wrong.

October blocks sent

I have just finished sending out the October swap partners, with 20 members swapping this month,
we don't have any newbies this month joining us, and have 2 members sitting out the swaps till after Christmas.

Remember to make 2 blocks per swap, *they don't have to be identical, and that you have a whole month to make and send these.  Email me if you have any questions or concerns, always happy to help

Quilted hugs, Sue

From Anna To Linda G

I received these wonderful blocks earlier in the week from Anna for our August swap.  I just love the design of both blocks and the colors are perfect.  Thank you, Anna!

6 inch blocks in the mail

Here is a sneak peek of the blocks for Bobbie which left on the slow boat to Australia today.

I did send them airmail but I'm convinced that in Canada "airmail" actually means a slow boat.  Hope they arrive quickly for you Bobbie!
